On Jun.28Th we went over to Monterey, we left early that morning and headed up; our first stop was in Salinas @ NASTY DISGUSTING McDonald's (thinking quick breakfast, and the first that we saw)... YUCK, it was horrible!! Next we got to Paul's testing site (he was taking an exam for the State), we got there early so we had time to walk around and use the bathroom; I did Little Paul's hair in there, I'm not kidding, they had hairspray/gel/lotion, that was really cool to me!!
So my original plan was to go to Lindsey and Steve's house and wait (visit) until Paul got done, well we decided that it was a little tricky finding the place and I did not want to get lost, so they came and met me there and we just hung out in the car/parking lot of this place until he got done about an hour and 40 minutes later.. Really it was not that bad, Preston took a nap and little Paul had a snack and played/ran around/jumped on oak ants and watched the dears run through the parking lot (we were in a State Park). After he got out we headed over to the Aquarium, before we went in we had lunch at a DISGUSTING place, we thought it would be good! NOT it was horrible (YES I'm picky, but not that bad, this was sick).. I'm realizing that Monterey is not all that for food, and that its not like Morro Bay (comparing both beach towns and have lots of tourists), because MOSTLY all the restaurant's in MB are pretty good, OR you can find something that suits you, BUT ALL of our food that we got at this place was NOT AT ALL GOOD!!! Well then off to the Aquarium, we had a lot of fun, they had lots of new exhibits. Preston really enjoyed it too, he even stamped pages of a book, played dress-up and played in the water! Little Paul liked it too, of course! We had a ton of fun, Steve and Lindsey are such good Friends, they really love our kids and our kids just love them! I cant wait until we go back...

I love the Monterey Aquarium...Which hotel has hairspray in the bathrooms??? fancy!
